The 6th Annual Leadership Conference has something for everyone!
If you are a Dean/Director of a program, then you will be interested in break out sessions such as “Why New Leaders Fail” and “Reaching Digital Millennials” as well as “Innovative Curriculum Changes.”
If you are a foodservice instructor/trainer, then you will have fun working in the kitchen with talented chefs learning innovative techniques such as: Latin Cuisine (featuring Peru and Brazil); Ancient Grains for Today's Global Cuisines; Top Menu Trends with American Lamb and Fruit Pairings.
In addition, instructors will be interested in “How to Use Case Studies Effectively” in their classroom settings and being inspired by “Green Applications” that are practical and proven.
And for high school instructors, they will also enjoy the master classes, but also hearing from a successful competition team and figuring out what their students know about social networks!
Everyone will be inspired by our keynoters: Dr. Tim Ryan, CMC, president of the Culinary Institute of America; Linda Vogler, DC Central Kitchen; Charles Carroll, CEC on Silver Bullets of Greatness and a panel on how media is affecting your programs.
What else? A fantastic reception on Friday night with entertainment and open to your family…a happy hour on Saturday afternoon where there will be opportunities to have some roundtable discussions…and a chance to explore Baltimore—a city known for fun in the summer!
There is something for everyone including a crab cake luncheon and an InfoFair put on by our sponsors who will have goodies for you to take home AND a scholarship auction where bargains abound!
PS: Did I mention that you can walk to the Orioles game? Or to the Inner Harbor to take a Water Taxi Tour? Or that your hotels have kitchenettes as well as complimentary breakfasts?
Hotel Deadlines
We have two hotels booked within two blocks of the Inner Harbor of Baltimore for the Leadership Conference. One is releasing our rooms on May 20; the other on May 24. Don’t wait too long! Summer is a busy time for Baltimore—lots to see and do for families as well as home games for the Orioles.
