This week, April 1, is the deadline for submissions for the Idaho Potato Commission's Leadership Awards, the CAFÉ/Kendall Green Award, the IPC Scholarships, and the CAFÉ Scholarships—all of these give the winners free registration to a 2010 CAFÉ event, including the French Cuisine Workshop, the 6th Annual Leadership Conference, the Healthy Menu Workshop, and the Latin Table Workshop.
The information can be found on CAFÉ's website at http://cafemeetingplace.com/instructornews/scholarshipsawards.html. They are open to both secondary as well as postsecondary programs and require a description of your best practice and documentation (as necessary). There are no formal application “forms”.These are narratives and can be relatively brief.
