Republik Mimpi (Republic of Dreams)
CSEAS Subtitle Project
Summer 2010

This summer, the Center for Southeast Asian Studies is working on translating and subtitling selected episodes of the controversial Indonesian political satire television series, Republik Mimpi (Republic of Dreams). Acquired by UH SEA collection librarian, Rohayati Paseng-Christensen, the collection is currently archived as part of the Southeast Asia Digital Library at Northern Illinois University. This effort marks the first subtitled versions of Republik Mimpi to be made available to English-language researchers... more info
