This inaugural Nongkrong Yuk! event will introduce you to the wonders and variety of Indonesian culture and language.

If you are taking Indonesian language class, this is a great chance to practice what you have learned in class. Here you will meet Indonesian students and others who are interested in Indonesia.

This will also be Nongkrong Yuk! 'welcome back' event or just another reason to have a party, Indonesian-style, with plenty delicious Indonesian food and fun Indonesian entertainment.

The USIP is seeking a person to serve as a Research Associate with a specialization in South Asia or Southeast Asia. The incumbent will conceive, design and implement projects relating to the prevention, management, and resolution of conflict in South or Southeast Asia (e.g. Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, the Philippines).

The work will entail research and writing for publication, organizing policy-oriented workshops and conferences, involvement in operational and/or field-based conflict prevention projects, and representing the Institute at pertinenet meetings.

Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies Program Fellowships

The Rotary Centers for International Studies
program offers fellowships for master's degree study fields related to peace and conflict resolution.  Beyond academics, Rotary World Peace Fellows also gain practical skills in conflict resolution appropriate to their individual careers.

The Rotary Peace and Conflict Studies Program is a professional development program held in Bangkok, Thailand, through which up to 30 participants embark on three months of intensive study instructed by some of the leading specialists in the peace and conflict resolution fields.  The specialized curriculum has been crafted to capitalize on the experience of both participants and lecturers while balancing theoretical and practical learning.
