African Jewelry: Continuing to bring the world to Antique Attic!

Kenya

Recently, I spent 2 weeks in Kenya-trip of a lifetime!I could not resist buying beautiful African jewelry made from bone, amber, horn, porcupine quills, and silver.  My hope is to sell enough African jewelry to help support some of these people. Very reasonably priced and very unique.  Come see our antique cabinet full of African jewelry!

Victorian Jewelry - Cameo
What is Victorian jewelry?

Queen Victoria of England ruled from 1837-1901.  Jewelry made during that period is called Victorian.

Cameo:  anything carved above the plane.  The opposite of cameo is intaglio.  Cameos can be carved from shell (pictured above), ivory, turquoise, coral, or hardstone. The most common cameos are ladies heads carved from shell.
