Happy 150th Birthday, Juliette Low!

"The work of today is the history of tomorrow, and we are its makers."                         Girl Scout Founder Juliette Gordon Low

Born Halloween 1860, Juliette "Daisy" Low founded Girl Scouts over 98 years ago, beginning with her historic telephone call to a friend  (a distant cousin), saying, "I've got something for the girls of Savannah, and all of America, and all the world, and we're going to start it tonight!" Today nearly 100 years later, the Girl Scout organization has 50 million alumnae and is still going strong. Join us in remembering her on her 150th birthday for her vision for the Girl Scout Movement and her willingness to blaze new trails. Both Saturday's Fall Festival (now full) at CWP, and the fall fundraising luncheon November 3, are held in her honor.
