Maintenance Manager/Technician (209940) 

Maintenance Manager/Technician is needed for a garden apartment community located in Fredrick County, MD. Must be CFC Certified. Must have hands-on knowledge in plumbing, electrical HVAC systems, able to schedule turnovers and contractors, and have the ability to make, understand and work within a budget. Individual should also possess good interpersonal skills, be able to use a computer, and be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing with all levels of management. 

 

Fuel and Maintenance Mechanic (209981)
Read and interpret maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and other specifications to determine the feasibility and method of repairing or replacing malfunctioning or damaged components. Inspect completed work to certify that maintenance meets standards and that machinery is ready for operation. Maintain repair logs, documenting all preventive and corrective machinery maintenance. Conduct routine and special inspections as required by regulations.  

 

Heavy Equipment Operator/Dozer Operator (209350) 

Must be able to control the operation of machine attachments. Operate machines to spread, smooth, level, or steel-reinforce stone, concrete, or asphalt on road beds. Operate oil distributors, loaders, chip spreaders, dump trucks, and snow plows. Coordinate truck dumping. Set up and tear down equipment. Operate tamping machines or manually roll surfaces to compact earth fills, foundation forms, and finished road materials, according to grade specifications. Shovel blacktop. Drive machines onto truck trailers, and drive trucks to transport machines and material to and from job sites.   

 

Communications Specialist (209997)
Local company is looking for a Communication Specialist who will gather, edit and compile information for a monthly publication, as well as solicit advertising, format ads, and manage advertising for same. This position will also maintain a company website on a regular basis and publish any necessary information to be distributed via electronic communication.  Ideal candidate will have experience working with printed and/or electronic communication publications. 

 

Box Truck Driver/Delivery Person (210008) 

Large distributor/installer of windows and doors is looking for a professional driver/delivery/warehouse person to: Obey traffic laws, and follow established traffic and transportation procedures. Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as gas, oil, water, tires, lights, and brakes, to ensure that vehicles are in proper working condition. Report any mechanical problems encountered with vehicles. 
 

Construction Craft Laborer (209368) 

CLP Resources is looking for General Laborers and Equipment Operators for a 4-6 month project in Northern MD.  Experience with solar installation, a plus. Must have own tools and safety equipment. Reliable transportation to get back and forth to work is a must!

 

Drivers and Machine Operators (209932)
Full-time positions available for Drivers needed at Frederick Work site. Heavy vehicle driving experience required, but CDL not necessary. Load asphalt and concrete for recycling. This position can be physically demanding and will be outdoors in all kinds of weather. Safety training provided if necessary. Prior experience in a Quarry helpful, but not necessary. Must be able to pass drug screen and be available to extended hours as necessary. Loaders and Machine Operators also needed.  

 

Heavy Equipment Operator (209939)

We have a great opportunity for a heavy equipment operator. We are hiring now. This skilled position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of equipment and vehicles. You will also operate trucks and other vehicles as needed. 

 

Network Operations Center Operator (210122)
Commercial experience in a Network Operations Center, ISP environment. Knowledge of VSAT network operations CISCO routers and switches. Knowledge of data communications protocol. Ability to verify that switches and routers as well as their configured network services and protocols, operate as intended within a given network specification. Previous experience with network monitoring like Traverse, NetVigil, HP Openview, etc. Knowledge of ticket systems like Heat, Remedy, Magic, etc. Must have the ability to trouble shoot network problems effectively in a network operations environment. 

 

Academic Advisor: Veterans Affairs Wounded-2-Work Program (206804) 

The Advisor is the University's first point of contact with the students and Veterans Affairs Acquisition Academy staff in the delivery of the academic program to interns.  Some of the Advisor's primary duties include serving as motivator, coach, and counselor for students; monitoring the needs of individual students and recommend appropriate responses with particular attention on the academic progress of each student in each class; and advising faculty and support service providers on best practices to meet needs of unique student population.
