In this issue I take time out to celebrate you!  

 

Thank you for being a part of Called To Action and this community of folks - intent on personal development - Walking It Out.  More importantly, I celebrate your good choices - the choices that contributed to what matters most in your life. 

 

So what about next year?  Are you ready for a year-end challenge? As a good friend and fellow coach asked me today,

 

 "What would you do if you were 10 times bolder in 2012?"

 

I invite you to read my Year-End Reflection and to consider participating in one of our 28 day challenges.  

 

I pray that 2012 bring you closer to God - closer to His purposes for your life.  My personal mission statement is my gift to you for the New Year:

 

You Matter!  God said so!  

Now, let's do something about it!

Yes, I choose to take time out to reflect on where I've been - especially at year-end.  Does it really matter when I do it?  Not really.  It just matters that I be intentional about evaluating my life choices and make adjustments where necessary.

 

Care to join me?  

Let's start with some of the questions I ask myself...

 

What do you celebrate about this past year?

  • What habits supported you?
  • Consider your network... Who supported you in your success?   

What did you intend to accomplish but left unfinished?

  • Does it still matter?
  • Are you willing to miss it again this next year?
  • What habits sabotaged your goals?
  • Consider your network... Saboteurs?

What are you tolerating?  What has been keeping you stuck?

  • Fears
  • Thoughts
  • Beliefs
  • People
  • Clutter
  • Emotions
  • Complacency
  • Procrastination
  • _______?

What new opportunities are open to you in the coming year?

 

Let's Kick it up to God...

  • What does God celebrate about you this past year?
  • What is He asking you to change going forward?
  • What does His Word teach?  If it matters to God; does it matter to you as well?
  • How did your spiritual life affirm your journey?

 

Living a Life in Balance says:  All of you Matters!

 

Body, mind, spirit, finances, relationships, career... and more.

 

When you take a good look, make sure you consider all of you.  What habits support your current reality?  What if all you needed to succeed were a few new daily habits?

 

When you are done reflecting, some tips...

  • Ask yourself "How do I want to finish 2012?" 
  • With that in mind, ask "What is the next best goal I need to set for myself?"
  • Identify what you already own/know that supports your success.
  • Identify what additional resources you'll need to get you there.
  • Identify your accountability partner(s)
  • Write the plan - include milestones and keep it simple!  

Start walking it out!
