La Dolce Vita
 Some of you know I am spontaneously offering a trip to Italy this fall. The tour dates are September 20-30th with arrival in Rome and departing from Venice. Italy never disappoints and I am looking forward to sharing its magnificence and simplicity with you. The details are now online. If you have ever wanted to go to Italy, this tour is a lovely sampler of Rome, Tuscany, and Venice. I include a walking tour in Lucca and time in Pienza and the hilltowns of Montalcino and Montepulciano as well. As always, our lodging is quintessential and well located for exploring. London & Paris November
 Another fun trip for 2012 before we move into our 2013 adventures. Late autumn is a quieter time to visit London and Paris before winter arrives. This trip provides you with a sampler of both of the worlds best loved cities. Turkey
 Our trip to Turkey is just around the corner and, if you missed it, then plan ahead to 2013 when I will offer the trip to Turkey in September 2013. September is considered perhaps the very best time to travel in Turkey and once you read my trip notes from this September you will want to join us. When to go is as important as where and we are careful to choose both our "wheres" and "whens" for the best possible travel experiences.

Summer Bliss
 Just the word summer conjures up bliss. Dragonflies dancing by the sea, mirrored reflections of water lilies on a still pond, walking by the sea, in the woods or amidst mountains, summer nourishes us with all the wonders of the universe. I love the starry filled night sky. Why is summer so brief? We barely sniff her fragrance and she passes. Summer has wings and teaches me to strengthen mine. I let go of today's technological trappings and unplug more in the summer being outdoors as much as possible. Puttering in the garden or kayaking on the bay. Sitting and doing nothing while sipping iced coffee or Stutz, a Nova Scotia drink of choice on the deck. Listening more to the sounds of birds and watching the porpoise's perfect synchronicity in pure wonder. I am amazed that the great blue heron comes every night to perch at 7ish on her rock. Summer is filled with healthy farmer's markets, friends, new folks to become acquainted with, and family memories to cherish. Traveling to old favorites and fresh landscapes; each day an opportunity to see more clearly and love more dearly. Wishing you the joys of summer amidst challenge, in the middle of a muddle, or wherever you may be on your life's path. Take a moment and celebrate YOU and summer wonders this glorious day.
