England 2013
The Chelsea Flower Show has announced tickets sold out early for 2012. Our tickets arrived and I am excited to once again lead our annual English Garden Tour. This year we are also seeing the new production of Les Miserable in London. We encourage you to begin planning now for your 2013 trip. We will post our annual English Garden Tour shortly and begin to take your reservations. If you have always dreamed of wandering the English countryside, theatre in London, sipping tea in quintessential England, exploring Bath and The Cotswolds then this trip is for you. This year our price was about half of a leading luxury tour operator and we tuck in details that make a difference. A sprinkle of luxe with value is our style of travel. Share the news with your gardening friends.

Small is Beautiful
You are one of a kind and we think your travels should be too. Traveling in a small group of women is definitely not the same travel experience as mass market larger group tours that most women's travel companies offer. You may even be hesitant to travel on a tour. We understand. Traveling with us is like joining a handful of friends.
You aren't waiting for 15 or more people to get their luggage ready or use the loo or return to a meeting point. There aren't twenty people walking into a restaurant for dinner or wandering about a museum enmasse. You can see how the choices of dining places can change when the group is small. Imagine traveling with a handful of women where less becomes very much more. You are comfortable, well cared for and traveling is easy. This note in from one of our fun Canadian travelers who joined us with her Mom on our English Garden Tour says it all...
"My cousin was trying to convince me to go on this tour to Ireland, with 30+ people that she had taken last yr with her husband. I just couldn't imagine doing it, you've definitely spoiled me with our England trip for any future travel. I think about England a lot. We had so much fun! I would love to go back. Maybe next yr. Mom and I fell in love with Bath. I have been drooling over your new trip to Turkey. I've visited the web page many times. Hope to meet you in a foreign land again soon Peggy."
Let us spoil you with our service, itineraries that differentiate us and make your trip the experience you well deserve.

Travel Tips for Women
- Plan ahead so you can start your trip rested.
- Layout your clothes a few days ahead and then take half of them.
- Comfortable walking shoes vs. fashion, take both.
- Make an extra copy of your passport/itinerary to take with you.
- Begin to eat less and drink more water a few days ahead of travel.
- Pack toiletries in ziplocks and include aloe baby wipes.
- Be prepared with a few extra days of prescription medicines.
- When arriving, if there is a time zone change, keep going and go to bed at local time. The next day you will be in sync and ready to explore.
- Bring some local currency and use ATM's upon arrival
Let go of all expectations and immerse yourself in the region. Savour the sights, sounds, smells and colorfulness wherever you may wander.

Scotland 2013
I f you like castles, gardens, tea and a taste of whiskey then our trip to Scotland will suit your fancy. I am off to Scotland the end of May to finish up my research, meet a tour guide or two, check out castles, gardens and more for our meander through this lovely land. I am planning this trip for May/June 2013. You may just leave your heart in the highlands on this tour. In 2013, the focus from Tourism Scotland is on Scotland's natural heritage and reputation as a land of natural beauty. Summer Downeast
As many of you know, our family has spent summers in Nova Scotia for decades and you can come for a visit on our Nova Scotia tour which is very authentic from a local's perspective. If you remember the heat of last summer, you may wish to reserve this trip where the cooling summer breezes and Maritime beauty will offer you a stunning vacation. No glitz or glam; just salty folk with a seafaring story. From the renaissance of Halifax to the UNESCO town of Lunenburg, we will discover why people return again and again to this magical region which is undiscovered, untouristed, and simply beautiful. We will visit one of the last remaining pristine untouched stretches of coastline that I have ever experienced in my travels from Nova Scotia to Florida. If you like the sea and her mystery, this trip is for you. Evidently Canada's Maritime region is getting a boost in tourism from the 100th Anniversary of The Titanic. Our Best of Nova Scotia tour visits The Maritime Museum of The Atlantic on the waterfront in Halifax and the small historical exhibit of The Titanic artifacts. Halifax was the nearest and largest seaport to support rescue operations for the passengers and crew. Lots of stories remain and some will be retold through the arts. This photo is of Peggy's Cove and we will visit the infamous site which is a spectacular meeting of land and sea along the coast. Reserve today for your summer escape Downeast. We have one space remaining. Best of Nova Scotia Reservation

River Cruising France
Wendy Perrin, one of Conde Naste Traveler editors, has just finished her hands on research of European river cruises for a feature in the August 2012 issue of Conde Naste Traveler magazine. She recently shared some of her notes and I think we will jump in here and offer to you our first Serendipity Traveler River Cruise in 2013. Destination France, small boat, excellent food, idyllic French villages and lots to explore while meandering the towns and villages enroute. Interested? The Euro is lower and it's a great time to travel to France. Let me know if this sounds like a trip you would like to join by emailing me at pr@serendipitytraveler.com.
