We do not plan or take hardly enough vacation time and the related stress that is prevalent is a visible result. Whether you work for yourself or someone else, please consider your health and wellbeing and plan to take a vacation this year and next and prioritize your health and wellbeing by taking time off annually. Business will go on as usual and you will enliven your life beyond measure; your one wild and precious life as Mary Oliver reminds us. I say, life is too short not to play..........!

Wyoming

Wow!! Our Summer Women's Walking in Wyoming trip was spectacular! If you ever want to talk to one of the women who have toured with us on any trip, just let me know. They will be happy to tell you about the fun we have. A note just received from one gal says it all............. "A group of diverse women, pristine weather, immersed in the wonder of The Grand Tetons." We walked, talked, hiked, swam, laughed, ate, toured and spotted Bison, Elk, Pronghorns, Moose, Bear, Eagles, Beavers, and Osprey. We sipped wine overlooking the mountains and watched the stars in the wide open blue Wyoming sky."

I encourage any woman who loves beauty and the outdoors to join me on this adventure next June. If you are an average walker you can easily accomplish all of our walks and hikes. We slept exceptionally well at Hotel Terra, rafted the Snake River, rode horses along the ridge at Spring Gulch, hiked the trail to Hidden Falls, and dined around the region. If you haven't experienced all things "wild west", I recommend you to reserve this trip for summer 2012. One of our clients on the tour from Australia suggested we all were, Living The Dream. Before the week ended, the ladies had decided they all wanted to travel again together. Plans are underway for our next jaunt traveling together.

Small is Beautiful

The women I have traveled with this spring have reminded me that small is beautiful. Each of the women presented specific details that needed handling from wanting not to miss Sissinghurst Garden to gluten free diets, riding a horse one more time, and coming to America for the first time; all needing thoughtful trusted expert help. We make it happen. One client who has traveled extensively said that none of the travel companies she has experienced care about the traveler's needs the way we do. Knowing how much of my heart goes into each trip, I am confident that this is our intent. Women who have never joined a tour before like the smallness of our groups which are about 6. Women who are independent like the details especially planned for them. Women tell me consistently that they like the way the days flow effortlessly. I relish the amazing diversity of women and enriching their lives through traveling well. On the Serendipity Traveler website we have one line testimonials. I wish I could print the notes, letters and share the hugs.

Inspiration

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover. "Mark Twain
