Greetings, The last newsletter of 2009
going out to women I consider kindred spirits... women who share a passion for traveling, for the creative
life, and for living well. Whether you are a keen gardener, photographer, avid
knitter, history buff, walker, gourmet cook, kayaker, music lover, runner,
quilter, theatre goer, painter, single, married, divorced or widowed, our
trips are designed to expand the landscapes of your life. We love to laugh, walk, explore and
discover the corners of the world and welcome you to come along on our journeys
which we prepare with the utmost of artfulness and attention to
details. Thanks to those who traveled with us in 2009 and for your
incoming reservations for 2010.

R Words
The last R word for 2009. Not sure how this little series got started, however it provided me inspiration for this paragraph. Back to R to end the year. In December we certainly can put a lot of R words together.. Remember, Rekindle, Reservations, Read, Retreat, Recycle, Resolve, Relax, Reconnect, Reminisce, yet perhaps Rejoice says it all. To be glad, and filled with joy! Rejoice

Charleston In the midst of a Northeast winter, it is comforting to think of our early spring trip to Charleston and Savannah. Anyone who enjoys historic homes and gardens will delight in this 5 day jaunt to experience the charms of this region. Charleston is one of America's best preserved cities. Women who travel to Charleston with us will sample the very best of Charleston and a taste of Savannah, Georgia when the southern gardens are at their peak bloom. This is the 75th anniversary year of the Charleston Garden Club and the 2010 annual Tour of Private Houses and Gardens is sure to be special.

Ireland
An autumn trip to Ireland is in the works for 2010. I am presently listening to Aine Minogue renowned Celtic Harpist while working on the itinerary. Dates will be posted when I have finished tweaking the details hopefully soon. This trip will be one that takes in much of the Irish countryside, including the scenic Dingle Peninsula, The Burren and other locales of great natural beauty. Rambling in the green countryside with local guides, sampling whiskey, listening to lots of Celtic music and touring Dublin will all weave a memorable journey to the land of castles, myths, and music. Perhaps you will want to listen to The Chieftans or Aine Minogue to enjoy the Celtic music and ease into the spirit that is Ireland.

Dominica
Don't miss a week of pure bliss on an untamed island. This trip is not for everyone. It is for women seeking a retreatful environment, outdoor activities and time for daily spa treatments to soothe and relax your spirited self. Dominica bills itself as the nature island for good reason. Dominica is unspoiled and quite simply an awesome environment in which to slow down. Please see the website for complete details.
