Greetings, Welcome to our monthly read. I am always hoping my words encourage you to travel. Serendipity Traveler offers women an
exceptional small group travel experience. As one traveler said, "how will I describe this back at the
office". I guess the best way is
to say it was like traveling with good friends. As it works, we stay in touch and travel again together. We know who you are, what you want, and
work to make sure your travels are the best.

R Words -
Rekindle
Some women who travel with us are in the process of
reinventing themselves. Perhaps a divorce
or death has changed the landscape of their lives and they are sorting,
planning, and beginning to dream again. Or, after a change of work or when all the kids are grown, your
dreams are now at the forefront. The
women I have met while traveling together are wonderful! We have all decided that the website
does a brilliant job of sorting out our style of traveler. Friendships form as the days unfold and
when we say goodbye emails are exchanged and we talk of future travels. Wherever you are on the journey of life,
traveling is a simple way to rekindle your dreams, expand your world, and
discover new landscapes. Dust off
your passport and join us.

New York, New York A few weeks ago I flew to New York, having been included in
a breakfast with John Byrne, the editor of Business Week, and 50 other business
women for a panel with Marcus Buckingham who is launching his most recent book,
Finding Your Strongest Life, What the Happiest and Most Successful Women do
Differently. If you aren't familiar with Buckingham's work, I recommend
taking a look at what he is working on.
After the panel discussion and morning excitement, with a new pair of
walking shoes just old enough to be comfortable, I hit the streets of one of
the worlds favorite cities, visited museums, ate well and returned home
revitalized, filled with ideas, dreams and aspirations. It was the first breakfast I have
attended where exquisite breakfast appetizers were passed on silver trays
before we sat down - mini cubes of French toast to dunk in maple syrup, pates
of salmon with croissants, and more. The view from the McGraw Hill corporate dining room on the 50th
floor was stunning.

Paris, London, Ireland
 Time flies and this
newsletter will be on its way to you while I am planning my next research trip
to Europe. I know it's a tough
assignment and someone has to do it. My research and keen sense of timing, savvy places to sleep,
local guides, fine food, untouristed routes and off the road places are what make
our trips special. I put my heart
in every trip; research, walk, talk, sleep, see hotels, and mix in the details
to put the finishing touches on our itineraries and trip offerings for 2010 and
beyond. See the 2010 calendar so far. |
This trip was last week and what a glorious week we
experienced. Beginning in Historic
Boston, winding our way to Vermont and ending by the sea on Cape Ann, we spent
a delightful time together. New
friendships made sipping mulled cider and memories now linger. The 2010 dates
for our Autumn in New England trip are now posted.

Winter Trip
Choosing where we will go - renting a seaside house in Nevis
or returning to Dominica or traveling to Maui, Hawaii. We will send an a special newsletter on Winter Escapes
shortly. Stay tuned. Just got the
dates from the Paris government regarding the Paris Soldes and am thinking some
women may like to start the year shopping the sales in Paris? Lots of choices,
and perhaps I will offer two trip this winter instead of the usual one. Airfare
is still lower than it will be and whether it is the sales in Paris for a long
weekend or walking amidst islands tropical beauty we are sure to travel well.
