Greetings,
Thanks to everyone for your enthusiasm and a warm welcome to new readers.  I'm looking forward to traveling together as the year unfolds and plans for 2010 begin to emerge with reservations coming in now. Some women like to plan far ahead while others wing it at the last minute.  Whatever your style, we are happy to hear from you whenever the spirit moves you to travel.  Our clients are active, educated and well traveled women who know the hallmarks of fine travel and appreciate our sensitivity and attention to detail.

Paris and London
Good News!  London and Paris will be offered again in early spring 2010.  Check for 2010 dates.  The London and Paris week is a great way to experience two of the world's favorite cities that are as different as tea and cappuccino, Big Ben and the Eiffel Tower, the Tate Modern and the Louvre, the Royal Parks in central London and Luxembourg Gardens on the fashionable left bank. Which ever city you think may be a favorite; this is a chance to taste both.

Resources are important in life. Whether it is as simple as a new recipe like Mango Tango Salsa or as complex and serious as the need for a world class Doctor, one wants to have a cadre of resources to call on.  My travel resources have been collected over decades of extensive travel experiences and now I share many of them with you while building Serendipity Traveler itineraries.  Collecting resources is an ongoing art and I am continually talking to people, reading, researching and, most importantly, traveling.  If you are on vacation you want all the details handled so all you have to do is have a memorable time.  Most women don't have the time today to sort out all the choices a trip entails and appreciate it when they find a trusted travel group to go with.  Serendipity Traveler is small and that is our strength.  We call you back, talk to you and learn about your style of travel and which details are particularly important to you.  Our resources provide you with an opportunity to travel easily and well.

Maritime Memories
How fast can a week go?  In July I finished our Walking in Nova Scotia trip and I can't believe how quickly the week went.  We experienced the highlights of Nova Scotia and settled in Halifax and Lunenburg.  Tall Ships, Bay of Fundy's 50 foot tides, fresh picked strawberries, Leatherback Turtles, whales and puffins, fiddlers, bagpipers, Peggy's Cove and Blue Rocks, learning local lore, Inuit Art, Mikmaq Culture, Acadian History, Evangeline, experiencing the native customs, step dancing, scallops, rain, fog, sunshine, wind, seaweed, peninsulas, rocky shores, fish shacks, colorful boats, tranquil coves, tides, pastoral pastures, a celidih, great blue herons, inlets, intermittent blue skies and the infamous Bluenose.  I have yet to travel with any woman that I wouldn't welcome to join me again and this trip was no exception.  Our clients are active, educated and want to learn, explore and discover while traveling.  If you missed coming to Nova Scotia this summer our 2010 dates will be posted on our website shortly.

Summer Glories
When you live in the Northeast, summer is a long awaited for season. I'm not sure why my summertime calendar passes faster than winter. The calendar says all seasons are the same length and yet summer, with all her glories, wings her way through the calendar and soon we are enjoying morning glories, dragonflies, cattails and picking blueberries or making pickles - sure signs that August is in full swing and September is just around the corner.  Savour these last weeks of summer wherever you may be and if you haven't yet taken a vacation, I hope you are planning to take time for yourself.

Winter Retreat
Last newsletter I mentioned Winter 2010.  I am sorting our options for a blissful winter escape.  The runners up are a return to pristine and wild Dominica for our Yoga and Adventure week, sailing in the British Virgin Islands, unwinding at a Plantation House on the tiny island of Nevis or the enchantment of Hawaii on Maui and Molokai. Tell me which trip you would be interested in joining by emailing me at pr@serendipitytraveler.com and stay tuned as the details will be finished in September for traveling late February/ early March
