Tall Ship Sailing
I am excited to tell you that we are now offering a Tall Ship sailing tropical adventure form March 1-8, 2008.  This trip will be on the beautifulTall Ship Caledonia, a 245 ft. barquentine; the largest ship to be built in Canada in100 years.  Caledonia is totally designed for your comfort and safety.  The itinerary affords plenty of time ashore to walk, hike and experience the islands we will be visiting.  Lots of optional activities are offered so you can choose what suits your mood each day.  Our trip on Caledonia will take us to The West Indies.  We depart from the island of Guadeloupe and continue to the idyllic Les Saintes and then onward to Dominica, one of my favorite Caribbean islands.  The dates again are March 1-8, 2008.  Please visit our website for all the particulars. We will not be able to accept any last minute reservations on this itinerary and passports are required for all Caribbean travel.  Single berths are available .  The trip aboard Caledonia is a pure Bliss Break.

Style of Travel
I enjoyed coffee recently with a friend who commented that, "travel is a wonderful way to open wide our hearts".  We talked a bit about the kind of women's travel company I have set in motion and that actually travel is all about exploring the landscapes of our lives.  To walk in the pristine Grand Teton Mountains conjures up how precious the time we spend on our planet really is.  To see a herd of Bison lumbering across the plains reminds us how our world is changing at an even faster pace than imagined and to watch Pronghorns fly across a field at 70 mph was beyond breathtaking.  Images of the fragility and strength of life are ever present.  As we travel together, new friendships happen and conversation flows like a river meandering through divorce, marriage, children, aging parents, wine, men, college, careers, gardening,  and downsizing, just to name a few.  The style is easy, and offers a rich camaraderie among the women travelers.

While out walking yesterday at sunset in the chilly northeast wind, I   serendipitously stopped into our library where the reading room is a charming spot to peruse the latest  issue of a fine collection of magazines.  I settled in with the November issue of National Geographic Traveler. The island of   Dominica was listed as one of the top ten islands in the world for its natural state which has not been seriously altered or harmed..  I have just returned from Dominica with our November Yoga and Adventure trip. Dates for our two 2008 Dominica Yoga and Adventure trips are March and November. Details are now on our website.

Inspiration
Often women ask me the age of our travelers. The essence of our women travelers is their spirit not their age. Women from 30 to 83 have dreamed of traveling with us. This quote from American author and poet   Elizabeth Coatsworth   "When I dream I am ageless"  encourages  us to live our dreams whatever our age.

Life is Short Travel Well
