About Take Two

Direct Arts' double bill of theater and film takes place every 2nd Tuesday of the month and seeks to unite disparate cultures, theater, film AND social activism in one big fuzzy ball of love. It began in 2007 and has featured the cream of NYC's theater and film scene - films showcased at Tribeca and Sundance, Obie Award winners, Broadway actors, cable TV stars and the occasional downtown personality. We're grateful to be supported this year by the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and the NY Council on the Humanities. Mark off the second Tuesday every month in your calendar for incisive, intercultural theater and film!

Little Terrorist
On Tuesday 3/15, hop the barbed wire fence between two border communities with us as we jump from the border between India and Pakistan, to the US/Mexico border in a heartwarming double bill of theater and film that puts a human face on all that ranting and raving about terrorists and illegal immigrants.

We are at Center Stage this month - 48 West 21st Street, 4th Fl, buzzer 401 - and refreshments are a $2 donation!
