has been able to channel his acclaimed DJ skills, witty personality and proven ear for music trends into an amazing radio show. Not only was Glam Scum easily embraced by the dance music communtiy, but it opened up the personality of electronic music to the general public.

Winter Music Conference is a already a month behind us! Man! Time flies! Well, it's not too late to share with our readers how grateful we are for everyone who volunteered to help NextAid in Miami...you know who you are! We also want to thank the speakers and coordinators who participated in the panels on Social Activism and Green Initiatives. We thank our friends and partners who allowed NextAid to have a presence at their special events, and a HUGE thanks everyone who attended and was involved in our Beats Build Hope party! DJ training institute, has undertaken their first nationwide
philanthropic project with a series of charitable mix CDs. Funk Aid for Africa, an inspired collage of Funk, Soul and Latin tunes, is the first in this series. The goal for this compilation is to raise awareness and funds to build a "green" environment at the NextAid/YWAV Communtiy Center and Residential Village.

| Green Wave and OM Records each "Adopt a House"
The 2010 completion deadline for the NextAid/YWAV Community Center and Residential Village is quickly approaching and two stellar organizations have stepped up and generously adopted homes.
Green Wave, an environmental non-profit dedicated to
establishing precedents for change and activism with the belief that they can
teach by creating living examples and help lead our future generations to a
sustainable future, has adopted the Green Wave House. NextAid has partnered with Green Wave's founder Janine Johnson to go on tour with The Crystal Method during May and June to help raise funds and awareness for the project. Please join us on tour or donate to the Green Wave House!
OM Records, a long-time dedicated supporter of NextAid, has adopted the House of OM. The House of OM will be a safe, comfortable, loving four-bedroom
home for 6 children who have lost their parents to AIDS, and one adult
