Call to Promoters: Join the movement, make one of your events a World AIDS Day benefit!
We would love to include more events in even more cities in our World AIDS Day event calendar. If you have an event planned during the month of December, we can help you turn that event into a World AIDS Day benefit. Make a difference!
As a promoter, artist, or venue, you have a unique opportunity to bring people together for a purpose. By incorporating NextAid's mission into an already planned event during the month of December and making it part of this campaign by donating proceeds, you will transform the event from just a party into an important statement of hope.
The World AIDS Campaign is being promoted far and wide in online newsletters that will be sent out by our promotional partners, such as flavorpill, Wantickets, URB Magazine, Fusicology, and Green Galactic. Scion is sponsoring all NY events.
Please contact events@nextaid.org for more information. |
NextAid: Using the beats of our generation to provide hope for the next.
NextAid is a Los Angeles-based humanitarian organization rooted in the dance music community, whose mission is to promote community-driven environmentally, economically and socially empowering responses to the AIDS orphan pandemic. NextAid collaborates with individuals, businesses and nonprofits to produce culturally-rich, awareness-raising projects and music events involving technology, the arts, public education projects, and volunteer opportunities.
We are building the NextAid Youth with a Vision Community Center and Children’s Residential Village in Dennilton, an impoverished and AIDS affected community in rural South Africa. The center will not only provide much needed shelter and care for 50 children but will also provide for hundreds of other children, teens and adults in the community with after school programs and economic enterprise opportunities. We broke ground with green builders and architects in 2005 and have since completed 11 structures of the 25-structure children’s eco-village. We plan to be complete in time for the World Cup, July 2010. Click here for photos of our progress!
Check out our website for more information on how you can make a difference! Go to www.nextaid.org or email us at info@nextaid.org. |
