This month, NextAid honors World AIDS Day on December 1st, 2007.
Building upon last year's theme of Accountability, this year is encouraging Leadership. People must take the lead in demanding their rights to HIV prevention methods, education, and treatment. A leader can be anyone who speaks out in defense of these rights. On this day, be a leader and give a voice to those who have none. Help NextAid give a voice to the children in South Africa who unjustly suffer the consequences of AIDS.

DJ Dan's 5,000 Record Auction Launches Dec. 7th! |
It's the moment you've been waiting for... Fishy Finds Store plans to put DJ Dan's records online for auction at ebay next Saturday, December 7th!
DJ Dan is one of America's most highly sought after DJ/producers who continually breaks new ground. Dan has been a supporter of NextAid since the early days and recently donated his record collection of over 5,000 records to auction off with all proceeds going to NextAid. "It is unbelievable how much we take for granted as healthy Americans. When you see the suffering that goes on in South Africa, it makes you realize how fortunate we truly are. If we all get involved to help NextAid in their fight to help the current and future generations, we can all make a huge difference in the fight against the HIV/AIDS epidemic."
Fishy Finds has been supporting NextAid as one of the six charities that it donates half of all sales from their auction company. Located in Simi Valley, Fishy Finds owners, Steve Olson and Tania Robuck-Goudsward, have offered their space, time, and labor for this auction that will last until all records go! All proceeds for record sales will go directly to NextAid and additional sales from Fishy Finds will partially benefit NextAid. |

NextAid PSA Goes Online |
 With the support of countless DJs, NextAid is launching its latest public service announcement in recognition of World AIDS Day. Watch world renowned artists such as Mark Lewis, DJ Heather, Miguel Migs, Louie Vega and more speak about the AIDS crisis and give a voice to African children orphaned by AIDS. You'll also see more of how far NextAid has come in building the Youth With A Vision Community Center and Children's Residential Village. View it on our website www.nextaid.org.

World AIDS Day |
 World AIDS Day was established by the World Heath Organization in 1988 and has been observed every year since on December 1st. World AIDS Day provides governments, organizations, communities, and individuals the opportunity to raise awareness and focus attention on the global AIDS pandemic.
In recognition of this year's theme, choose to be a leader and demonstrate how we as a community and as individuals can fight to stop AIDS.

DJ Colette Donates Set to NextAid |
On Monday, November 12th, DJ Colette donated her entire set to NextAid at Hollywood's Monday Night Social. The longest running weekly social in LA is held at Nacional, 1645 Wilcox Ave. http://www.budbrothers.com
With her disarming doe eyes and a heartwarming demeanor, Colette possesses the unmistakable voice of post-millenial house music. Her sweet-but-sultry voice has been called 'angelic' so many times, it's a miracle she hasn't grown wings. Her newest album, Push, has got serious dance floor ammo with its tricky, funneled beats and overall playful vibe, but it can slink into dark-and-sexy mode too, making the record as diverse as its cast. Colette's sexy, jazzy alto is featured perfectly on 'If' and first single, 'About Us.'
