Too Much on Your Plate
How to Get Help When
You Need It

How many times have you been in a situation when you know
you have too much to handle? For me, it can be pretty often. So the question to
ask is who puts that load on you? One could say their boss or my (fill in the
blank) but the truth of the matter is, it is you. Yes, you are the one who is
not setting the limits. This one is obvious for me because I am self employed. No
one gives me projects except myself. When I feel the stress of my decision, I may
think I do not have back up or assistance, but I really do. All I need to do is
ask for help and it is usually there. I am also the one who decides to quit for the day, avoiding working hours into the night.
Did you know there is an easy way to avoid these
electrically charged negative experiences, The beauty of what we do as energy
workers is that we know others who do similar work. If you are not trading your
talents with another bodymind worker you are denying yourself valuable help. I
was recently gifted by the talents of a proficient hypono therapist, Sandra. When
we trade we have fun working with each other as we guide and hold a space for
the other to find their own answers which we all know lies within. When I looked an image of my plate I found
I could take some of the items on my plate and put portions on smaller plates. I
could visually see this with my inner sight. Then I could work with those
pieces later or give them to another to deal with. What a concept.
So how does one create
more time in the day? Ask for help. Call
upon a friend who has the expertise to assist in what your current needs
demand. They could be a guide to open a window which you can look into and find
an answer. You may ask someone to come by and the two of you can accomplish a
task faster while making it fun. Then you can do the same for them. It fills a
social need while it becomes very time efficient.
Cut yourself some slack this summer. Go out and smell the
roses, literally. Ask yourself, in the big scheme of things does it really
matter if "X gets""" completed right now? 20 years from now how much difference will
it make? Put things in perspective, be kind to yourself and others will follow
suit.

The Rocky Mountain Seth Conference is back and in full swing. The basic concept of Seth is you create your own reality. Well that certainly ties in with Reiki.
At the conference you will find speakers who will stimulate your mind and how you think. You will find new ways to improve your life and discover how to do it. There is plenty of time to discuss new concepts with people through out the country and the world. It is a small conference, usually around 100 attendees.
