PATCO gets a special visit
On April 20, 2011, Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett, the new Chairman of the Board of the Delaware River Port Authority and Port Authority Transit Corporation, along with several Commissioners of the Board, toured the PATCO Maintenance Shop and viewed first-hand several key operations including the car rehabilitation program. Next, the group made their way to the Lindenwold Station, boarded the train and traveled to 8th and Market Streets to see the renovated Concourse. The Governor and Commissioners enjoyed seeing PATCO's impressive operations.

Save the Date - Collingswood May Fair
Looking for a great day for the family? The Collingswood May Fair is the place to be. A little fun for everyone. The May Fair is Saturday, May 28 from 10 am to 5 pm. (Rain Date is Sunday, May 29 from Noon to 5 pm). There will be 200+ artists and crafters, carnival and pony rides, Kid Zone area, 5 stages of live music, Food Courts and antique and classic auto show. Of course you can take PATCO to get there.

Collingswood Farmers Market
 Twelve years and still growing: The market will open again May 7, 2011. They will welcome customers from 8am until noon, every Saturday May through Thanksgiving. Farmers markets represent one of the great ways that consumers can support their local farmers, farmland, communities, and regional economy. Patrons can sit in the cafe area and have coffee and hot breakfast sandwiches. Local musicians play live music. Each year the Market strives to offer a variety of Jersey Fresh products and locally-produced items. The Market carries local produce and flowers rain or shine every Saturday. As the growing season progresses, each new Saturday offers something different.

Haddonfield Farmers Market
5th Fabulous Season Opens May 21, 2011 at a new location on Kings Court located in the center of town! What's happening at the Market? You need to show up to find out! Each week's offerings are dependent on the growing season, harvests and availability. Live green - eat seasonally! It's the best way to stay healthy, keep in touch with nature, and support local entrepreneurial farmers and food providers, while meeting your friends and neighbors. Open every Saturday rain or shine from May 24 through October 8, 8am to 12pm.

PATCO CARES
On April 12, 2011 the PATCO Cares program welcomed Samaritan Hospice, Inc. & The Gift of Life Donor Program to the Woodcrest and Ashland Stations. They passed out literature and chatted with customers about their services and volunteering.

RIVERSHARKS opening night is just around the corner!
Hey Sharks Fans! It's less than 2 weeks away from the big day. Take PATCO to the City Hall station and you are only 3 blocks away from the stadium. Tuesday, May 3rd at 7:05pm will kick off the 2011 season in style. The theme will be Hollywood with a mission to have a fabulous fun night. There'll be a block party before the game with magic acts, jugglers, face painters, and of course music! There will be games galore to keep you entertained all night long. Make sure you brush up on your movie skills because there will be trivia and prizes handed out for whoever answers the questions correctly. The final touch on your evening will be a fireworks extravaganza.

Ashland Lot: Lot N1 has been completed and lot S1 should be finished by April 29th. Weather permitting repaving of lot S2 scheduled for May 2 - May 6 Lots N3 & meter area scheduled for May 9 - May 13 Lot N2 schedule for May 16 - May 20
Haddonfield Lot: Weather permitting Lots S1 & S2 are scheduled for repaving May 23 - May 27 Lots N2 & N3 are scheduled for May 31 - June 4 and Lots N1 & S3 are scheduled for June 6 - June 10
