DRPA Receives Award for Financial Report

For the 17th year, the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) has awarded the Delaware River Port Authority the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for its comprehensive annual financial report. The GFOA indicates "this certificate of achievement is the highest form of recognition in the area of government accounting and financial reporting and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment".

March Events at the Philadelphia Cruise Terminal
 
The cruise terminal was bustling with activity this March. On March 6, the terminal was host to the sold out Starfish Junction/Craft Beer Festival. On March 26, 27 and 28, the cruise terminal was the site of the Philadelphia Furniture Show. Next event coming to the terminal is the Philadelphia Antique Show April 17 through April 20.
Authority Employees Give Back to the Community
 
 
DRPA and PATCO employees showed their generosity once again by donating to the American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days. Staff raised more than $400 to support research efforts to find a cure for cancer.

Also in March, DRPA employees donated food products to the Easter Food Drive. This drive benefits the City Team Ministries of Chester, PA.
