Earthquake Relief in Haiti

PATCO Riders Donated in 2 Hours More than $2500
Thank you to all our riders who were able to help those devastated by the earthquake in Haiti by donating to the American Red Cross.  Representatives greeted passengers at PATCO's Lindenwold, Ashland, Woodcrest, Haddonfield, Collingswood and Ferry Ave stations and collected donations to support the organization's earthquake relief efforts in the island nation.  The American Red Cross has been leading the US effort in aiding Haiti, and PATCO felt compelled to create an easy way for our customers to show their support for the victims of this terrible tragedy.

Lourdes Hospital Helps PATCO Riders Stay Germ-Free

Representatives from Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center were on hand at PATCO's Lindenwold station to greet riders with free hand sanitizers and tip cards with information about the H1N1 virus, which is still circulating and causing illnesses.

Keeping your hands clean so as not to keep the spread of the virus to a minimum is important in steering clear of H1N1 and other flu strains, say hospital officials.  The event, part of the PATCO Cares program was an opportunity for Our Lady of Lourdes to promote its services and core mission - to serve all people, regardless of their ability to pay.
