PATCO riders got in the spirit of giving with the donation of gifts for children in need through the Center for Family Services (CFFS).  As part of the PATCO Cares program, representatives from the organization greeted riders at the Westmont Station on Tuesday, December 15, and collected wished-for gifts the following morning.   

The CFFS gift collection came after the toy drive PATCO ran that yielded barrels of holiday toys for area children in need.

The PATCO toy drive kicked off with the annual Yuletide Ride event on November 28.  The event took place at the Woodcrest Station in Cherry Hill, NJ, with clowns and live music from the John Breslin Band, Season's Greetings, Sound Express Barbershop Quartet and others.  Santa Claus also made a special appearance and boarded the Philadelphia-bound trains with PATCO customers for a free trip into the city, visiting every car along the way.   More people enjoyed this year's festivities than ever before.

From PATCO's toy drive, to the in station appearance by Center for Family Services to other PATCO Cares initiatives this fall and winter, PATCO riders have stepped up with extraordinary generosity that has not gone unnoticed.  PATCO extends warm thanks to all of our riders who have supported some great causes this year, and we know that the organizations involved in PATCO Cares are very appreciative as well
