PATCO Cares: Cathedral Kitchen Gives Ashland Riders a Taste of Its Work
The evening commute for Ashland Station commuters was made a little sweeter on October 5th when Cathedral Kitchen handed out freshly made cornbread to passengers.  The treat was prepared at Cathedral Kitchen's new facility that serves 8,000 hot nutritious meals monthly to the poor and hungry in Camden.  The giveaway was part of the new PATCO Cares program that provides select non-profit organizations a way to spread the word about the good work they do throughout the region.

The mission of Cathedral Kitchen is to provide meals and other services to the poor and hungry of the city of Camden without regard to race, religion or sex.

The PATCO Cares initiative, designed to help regional non-profit organizations promote their good works and seek support from the local community, will continue with an in-station visit from the Ronald McDonald House of Southern New Jersey on October 27 at Collingswood.
