New Games for the Summer!
All of us on the Catan team are excited
for the summer releases of Settlers of America: Trails to Rails™ and
Klaus Teuber's brand new game, Wacky Wacky West™! Read more about these games which celebrate historical American western themes below.
Settlers of America: Trails to Rails™ - Street Date July 8, 2010:
 The Settlers of America: Trails to Rails™ combines the two strongest categories of the
Mayfair Games product line, train games and Catan games, to create the
first ever Catan train gaming experience!
This new addition to the Catan Histories series of games utilizes the familiar Catan hex-tile
grid to present a map of
the United States. Players collect and trade resources, in
order to purchase, migrate and build settlements, forge railroads and
acquire locomotives. Railroads are used to distribute goods to the
interconnected cities. As westward locations are settled, old sources of resources
deplete. The addition of gold adds to the depth of play and increases
options for the players.

Wacky Wacky West™ - Street Date July 22, 2010:
 In Wacky Wacky West™ you and your fellow townfolk place track tiles,
street tiles, and river tiles hoping to destroy your rivals' buildings.
Every time someone tries to build over a precious outhouse, the town
votes! You try to enlist your supporters (represented by cards) to vote
with you to stop or encourage the play of certain tiles-perhaps saving
some of your buildings or taking out those of your dastardly opponents.

Catan for Sony PlayStation®3 on PSN!
 We are excited to announce that Game Republic, Ltd. is bringing Catan to the PlayStation® Network. The game is available now in Asia and will be hitting the North American PlayStation® Network June 15th!
There are several special features exclusive to the
new PlayStation®3 version, which are:
- Three variations for the artwork - including the traditional Kosmos
and Mayfair editions, as well as a 3D edition.
- Flexible rule set lets you set games featuring any of the official
rules or alternate house rules.
- Supports both text and voice chat - allowing you to communicate with
your competitors.
- Play online with players from around the world. "Catan" plays with 2-4 players online and 1 player in offline mode

 There has been a lot of excitement on Playcatan.com over the past couple months. We founded
three new cities, released new versions of the COW, and continued to hold
online tournaments!
