 The Settlers of Catan World Championship is coming to the US!
The Settlers of Catan World Championships 2008 will be held in the US for the first time ever! Enthusiasm for Catan has grown immensely among our international community, and
we are proud to award the highest Catan honor overseas this year.
Mayfair Games will host the 2008 Settlers of Catan World Championship at Gen Con Indy 2008, in Indianapolis, Indiana. We are excited to join everyone in experiencing this new venue for the world championship. The finals at Origins 2008 have just concluded, and we are all anxious to see who will be victorious at this year's Gen Con Indy. COW Update!
Our international community is growing fast! World Village, the first international city of the Catan Online World, is now by far the largest of all cities. Our English speaking citizens continue streaming into World Village, and we're happy to announce that the city recently elected its first mayor. Together with our new moderators, he's doing a great job helping new citizens find their way around the COW!

 Roll, Play, and Settle! The Catan Dice Game was officially released this week! Complete with six colorful resource dice, the dice game version of The Settlers of Catan also involves building settlements, roads, cities, and knights. But,
you won't be placing any pieces made of wood or plastic on the map.
Instead, each player will record these actions on the provided paper
sheets which depict a map of the island. To produce resources players
roll the resource dice, which have six resources, one on each side of
the die, including gold as well!
