Our
deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are
powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that frightens us
most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented,
and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of
God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing
enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around
you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within
us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let
our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the
same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically
liberates others.

Extraordinary Results January 2010 Newsletter "Confidently Yours"
|
Feature Article: Confidently Yours
I wrote my book "Organize with Confidence" almost 4 years ago based on what I've learned over the past 25+ years on living an organized life and living confidently. Because, let me tell you, I was not born either organized or confident!
In my book I explain my blueprint to confidence which consists of 12 modules - which is perfect since I can now give you one module a month in 2010!
The 12 modules are: - Continue to learn
- Only you can change anything
- Notice your surroundings
- Face the fear and do it anyway
- Imagine the best
- Dare to have big goals
- Establish systems
- Never give up
- Compare yourself only to yourself
- Enjoy life!
Confidence Module #1: Continue to Learn I love to learn, love it, love it! But, only thing s that I want to learn! One of the happiest days in my life was when I realized I'd never have to take another science class again as long as I lived. Do you feel that way, too?!
In my opinion the end of formal education is the beginning of life-long learning. Now we get to learn what we'd like to learn and when we do anything that improves our life we feel better.
It is amazing how confident you
will feel when you are learning something new and mastering it - it's
awesome! Any time you take action you will feel more confident. Stop
thinking about what you want to learn or master - do something about it.
What can you do in January to expand your mind?
- Learn a brand new software or watch a tutorial to better use a software program you already have
- Learn how to use your cell phone!
- Read 3 books you've been wanting to read
- Listen to a motivational series on audio CDs
- Watch the Discovery Channel
- Get a ________ for Dummies book on a topic that you find interesting
- Hire a trainer and learn how to use the machines at your gym
- Start learning a new language
- Learn how to organize all of your digital photos on your computer
- Take a class at your local Community Education center
- What do YOU want to do?!!
January Confidence Action Step: Decide today on what you want to learn in January. Get your calendar and set a date/time to take action on your learning goal. Enjoy, have fun, and watch how great you feel about yourself as you master a new skill!
January Organization Tip: Pick a small area in your home or office that's been bugging you. Pull out one of the organizing books you have in your home library (and hopefully it's my Organize with Confidence book!), look at the index and find the chapter that tells you how to organize the area that you chose, read the chapter and start. If you have my book read Chapter 1 and learn my START Method that will help you organize any area in your home or office. Just pick one small area and get it done. Click here for more great articles to help you!
, I want to hear what you are going to learn in January and the easiest way to do this is to comment on my blog. I just made it a lot easier to receive my
blog posts. Go to my blog at www.elizabethhagenspeaks.com and click on the top right
button that says "Get my blog posts delivered via e-mail" and they will come
right to your in box!
