Happy Holidays!!!

Welcome to another Blue Ribbon Flies weekly newsletter. Thanks for tuning in. Settle in and we'll tell you what's happening around West Yellowstone and our other favorite spots, show you the fly and the material of the week, and tempt you to plan your next trip with us.

We've got a lot to show you and tell you about this week, so settle down in a comfy chair and dig in. Take a break from work or play, grab a cup of coffee, and pretend you're leaning on the counter here at Blue Ribbon Flies.

We hope to see you soon, right here in West Yellowstone, but until then we wish you happy and healthy fishing and fly tying. All our best to each of you. We wish you were here, but until you are we'll keep you in the loop. Thanks for stopping by.

 MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

From those of us here at the shop today: Bucky, Cam, Jackie and I would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy-Happy 2012 filled with wild trout and lots of time enjoying Yellowstone country!!!

On the drive in this morning I took this sunrise photo at Hebgen Lake. My truck's thermometer showed -26 degrees, not a creature was stirring in the cold along the lake but it sure was a pretty drive in with the new snow and sundogs brightly glowing on the eastern skyline.

Going into the New Year we know how fortunate we are to have you as friends and customers. We thank you for your kind and continued patronage and support for wild trout projects in Yellowstone country. Tomorrow at the shop's annual Christmas party your ears will be burning as the guides and shop crew show up here for some Christmas cheer and a walk down 2011 fly fishing season's "memory lane". We will revisit time on the water and at the shop with so many of you, and hoist a New Year toast to you all. Wish you could be here!

The Christmas Day forecast promises sun, calm winds with a thirty degree high temperature, we will take a few Christmas trout. Last year we were denied due to 30 mph winds and below zero temperatures. I promise this year we will score a wild trout for you all on the Madison!

Happy Holidays everyone! And we look forward to seeing you all in the New Year!!!

HAPPY HOLIDAY'S!

Thanks for spending time with us. We'll see you soon!
