I have been privileged to serve as Elder and Guardian of the Soul of the World Café for fifteen years.  The "good news" is that the soul of the World Café is flourishing.   I know the world needs the World Café more than ever, because our need to "talk it through" has never been more keen. Yet I also know that we urgently need your help now to ensure that the foundation of the World Café survives.

Through the World Café Harvest Fund Drive, we must raise $25,000 by November 4, 2011. Your gift will help to ensure that our Community Foundation continues its vital work as the hub of the World Café.

This year we have:

• Continued to assure that essential World Café resources are freely available for public and private use around the world - and in a growing number of languages.   
• Created World Café learning programs to provide opportunities to understand and practice the core principles of conversational leadership and World Café hosting.  
• Partnered with the Fielding Graduate University to offer World Café courses for academic and professional credit.  
• Engaged World Café practitioners around the world to support "thinking together for a change" in diverse organizations and communities.   
• Hosted pioneering global dialogues virtually, helping people give voice to their images and aspirations for a positive future.  
• Continued to evolve the World Café website and provide a platform for the World Café online community - vital resources for connecting and activating our worldwide network.
