Q: Can I Bring A Picnic Lunch?
A: Yes! Outside food is allowed. Food vendors will also be present at the event.
Q: Should I Bring Cash or Cookie Credit?
A: Yes - both! Many vendors will be accepting cash-only for their activities and products. Some activities will use "event cash" where one ticket = $1. Event cash can purchased with cash, credit card or Cookie Credit and will be available in $5 increments ($5, $10 and so on). All activities will be $5 or under, while some products may be in the $15-30 dollar range. An ATM will be available at the event, but we recommend planning ahead.
Q: What Will the Weather Be Like?
A: According to the forecast: HOT.
The forecast for Albany says Saturday will be very warm with little chance of rain. While many of the booths and activities are indoors, you'll be outside a lot during the day and all throughout the concert. Be sure to wear sunscreen (bring more to reapply), sunglasses and a hat. We'll have lots of water at the event, but you might also consider bringing some of your own.
Q: Is there a Parking Fee?
A: No - parking is free. Attendants will help you find open parking spaces and free shuttles will be available to take you to the main event space from distant lots.
Q: Can I Win Fabulous Prizes?
A: Yes! GSOSW is partnering with Oil Can Henry's to do some big giveaways at the event using Twitter! We're talking gift certificates, meet & greets, music, a Nintendo DS3 and more.
