Greetings and Welcome to Spring!

I challenge all of you this spring and summer to become people of positive action. The old saying says 'it will be better in the morning'. This is true. But be prepared that in the morning you are going to have to act upon this newly better item. So be prepared to ACT! Be ready to make the big decisions, be bold, be patient and yes, kindness goes a long way.

Sign up for that CEU, Revit class, hire a new emerging professional, take on that challenging project, or just start going to more events. This year I have heard so many of you say you should get back in the habit of attending events, yes this is true-but actually start acting upon these thoughts. I always find it so interesting that once I put it in my head that YES I can do it, the act of making it happen just happens.

If you have reasons why you are not able to attend, work through those thoughts with positive solutions. Don't want to use the gas...post on our Facebook page you would like to carpool with another member in your area. Don't have a ton of time...attend a monthly social event-but stay an hour. You make the rules, and no one else, but do not be bound to those limits. In case you don't know what to do-ask us! Post a note on Facebook, contact the chapter office, or e-mail me. We can help you brainstorm. No one has all the answers, but if it takes a village to raise a child-then it takes a village to keep all of us vibrant and moving forward in life.

If any profession should be vibrant, colorful and interesting it should be Interior Design right?
