| Word-of-the-Week
| |
Since so many families are new to Anser, Family Council will feature a regular Word-of-the-Week in the Flight Plan. We hope this helps folks become more familiar with all of the acronyms, design principles, and lingo of our school. Here's the word of the week: (SOS) "Sixth Grade Year of Service"
Each sixth grade student develops and implements a long term service project to support the cause of their choice. Past students have volunteered and raised money at many local organizations including the Humane Society, The Agency for New Americans, and many others. Students are mentored by an adult, who helps them develop their vision, and strategy and checks on their progress.
