Consider Having an A/R Sale
Explore the possibility of an AR sale where your customers can take advantage of a 3-5% discount off paying their ENTIRE statement by a certain date. You will find out right away the types of savvy customers who will take advantage of that discount and you'd be surprised how many 'trouble' customers will send in that 'it's been hard to collect' payment out of the blue. We hold an AR sale a few times a year. Not same time every year so that customers hold off on paying. Just sporadically. We stipulate that the ENTIRE statement must be paid. No discount on Equipment sales or special orders or special discounted sales. Customer must also pay service charges that are on account. So clean up your AR and give your customers something the cheer about, consider an AR sale. |
