The Month of May: Our Best Month Yet!
Bike to Work Day shattered attendance records yet again this year with 12,000 riders taking part! The Ballston pit stop had an enthusiastic crowd and for the first time in the history of this regional event, the Rosslyn pit stop had the most registered cyclists of any pit stop in the area (including the superhero entertainment in the above photo!).

The Bicycling Comedian Comes To Arlington!
Bicycling stand-up comedian Tom Snyders, who has been pedaling around the country for the past 25 years, will perform at 7:30pm on Wednesday, June 27, at the Arlington Cinema & Drafthouse. Tickets are $15 (limited seating) and proceeds go to benefit Phoenix Bikes. Click here for more information.

Arlington Bike Shop Group Rides

Ride with the Rev. Do It. Beginning on Thursday, June 28th, Revolution Cycles in Clarendon will be riding hard and fast on Thursday nights.
Meet at 6PM, power through an intense road ride, and recover back at the shop with some tasty dinner and refreshingly cold beers provided by New Belgium Brewery. Rides will be every Thursday and food and hydration will be the third Thursday of each month.

Join Freshbikes in Ballston every Tuesday evening at 6:30pm throughout the summer for a small ride with 300 of your closest friends....yep that's right upwards of 300 cyclists!! The Tuesday night ride is a HUGE hit, and a great way to meet like-minded people and get in shape. The ride is a no-drop ride, so all abilities are welcome!!
Come join the Freshbikes crew for your favorite loop through Arlington and the surrounding areas. The ride rolls out from Mosaic Park which is adjacent to the store. But be sure to get there early as parking is limited, or better yet, just ride your bike on over.

Two Wheel Tuesdays are in Ballston/Virginia Square in July!
Learn everything you need to know about riding your bike in Arlington County through our fun and interactive Two Wheel Tuesday sessions. Each session will be from 7:00pm - 8:30pm every Tuesday night. Sessions will be held at Arlington's Central Library at 1015 N. Quincy Street.

Two Wheel Safety Tips: Get tips on safe biking so you can ride in traffic with confidence
Equipment, Clothing & Gear: Choose the right bike for you with expert advice on bike fitting and equipment selection and learn how to stay comfortable with the right clothing and gear
Routes & Directions: Figure out how to get where you want to go by bike with experienced rider recommendations on route selection and routing tools

Phoenix Bikes "Phoenix Rising" Fundraiser
