October
Fall is definitely in the air! The leaves are turning brilliant colors, and pumpkins are beginning to show up on doorsteps! Last Thursday was an exceptionally gorgeous, and unseasonably warm day, which was spent enjoying the MobilityWorks Expo! Thank you to those who came out! It was a wonderful event, and we so enjoyed talking to you and hearing all of your travel stories! Your stories inspire us to find new and wonderful places to explore!
This month's newsletter is highlighting Austin, Texas. Austin is the state capital and home to the University of Texas. There are plenty of opportunities to get active in Austin-from spending a day on and around Lake Austin, to a night out on the town filled with live music, local cuisine, and lots of exploration! Best of all, Austin is very accessible!
Also, stay tuned for new accessibility guides coming soon for Dallas, New York City, and London!
Happy Fall!

They are lined with a variety of bistros and music venues to suit any taste. I was thrilled to see a number of disabled parking spaces on nearly every block. ...more |

By: Melissa Knight
Walt Disney World has made it possible for people with all kinds of abilities to visit and experience the magic. One of the things that makes my visits easier is that Disney has implemented ways for you to stay in your wheelchair to experience certain attractions if you are unable to transfer. I have found the accessible ride vehicles very easy to use with minimal assistance. Below is a rundown of these attractions at the Magic Kingdom.
