Greetings!

This week we welcome back our students whose Winter Term travels took them to Malawi, London, China, Ecuador and many other destinations. In all nearly 300 Eckerd students and faculty were 'thinking outside' at 16 destinations around the globe this January. Take a moment to ask them about their travels and what they learned--you won't be disappointed.

We also welcome you back to the biweekly Inside Eckerd newsletter, which provides you with news and information about what's happening at Eckerd College. Please visit the Inside Eckerd archives page to see past issues or invite a friend to join the mailing list. Help us build our Inside Eckerd network by sharing this email with your friends and family 'outside Eckerd'. Enjoy!

Center for Molecular and Life Sciences

The walls are going up! Progress continues on the Center for Molecular and Life Sciences, made possible through the work of faculty and staff, and gifts from hundreds of donors who supported the $80 million Many Experiences, One Spirit Campaign. Visit this site to see photos and progress reports.

Get Healthy and Stay Healthy

Start the semester off right by getting involved in EC Wellness initiatives. Lunchtime Yoga sessions will begin this Friday (February 3) at 12:30 p.m. in the Fitness Center. And reserve a seat for the "Am I Hungry" (Weight Management) info session planned for Tuesday, February 7, at 11:30 a.m. in the Triton Room.  RSVP's should be sent to Amy Wright. See the Wellness Website for more information on Eckerd and community offerings to help you stick to those New Year's resolutions!
