Tampa PEL Alumni Team Makes Strides Against Breast Cancer

Congratulations to the Eckerd College Tampa PEL Alumni group who participated in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer! The team walked on Saturday, October 22, 2011 and raised over $2,000 for a great cause. The team consisted of PEL advisor Nancy Fraser Carrier, Liana Fuente '11, Angelina Garcia Tennis '11, Cecile Bare '11, Jonathan Tennis '09, Jennifer Hunziker '10 and her husband, Josh Hunziker.

Only at Eckerd A Grassroots Effort Partially in response to Quest for Meaning College Program Series speaker Bill McKibben, 220 Eckerd students have signed up to attend the Tar Sands Action Rally on Nov. 6 in Washington, DC. This grassroots effort was organized and led by students. A Thanksgiving Feast at Eckerd College Spend your turkey day with your Eckerd family (yours are welcome, too!) at the annual Thanksgiving Feast in Fox Hall on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 24 at 4 pm. Enjoy turkey with all the traditional trimmings, football game viewing in the Pub, and holiday craft activities for all ages. Meal cards will admit students who are on the meal plan; for other students, faculty, staff, and guests the dinner charge will be $7.00 per person. Buy tickets in the Bon Appetit Dining Services Office (864-8411), which is located in the Café Bon Appetit building. Eckerd Review 2012 - Call for SubmissionsEckerd's literary magazine is inviting all members of the EC community to send in their short stories, poems, nonfiction and art on or before Nov. 23 for consideration.
