Staff News
Join us for the first Staff Breakfast of the fall semester on Thursday, Sept. 22 at 8 am in Fox Hall. President Donald Eastman and Staff Council wish to say 'thank you' to staff for their participation in the successful "Many Experiences, One Spirit" campaign, which raised $82.7 million.
Last month, Eckerd College was named to The Chronicle of Higher Education's 2011 Great Colleges to Work For program. Eckerd employees rated the College highly enough to be recognized in the 'Compensation and Benefits' category.

Faculty Additions and Awards
At the College's annual Convocation ceremony, Dean of Faculty Betty Stewart introduced 10 new faculty members to the Eckerd community and announced the recipients of the John M. Bevan Teaching Excellence and Campus Leadership Award and the Lloyd W. Chapin Award Excellence in Scholarship and the Arts.

Only at EckerdOffice of Sustainability Eckerd's new Sustainability Fellow Evan Bollier '11 is focused on the Presidents' Climate Commitment, low-flow shower heads, electronics recycling and the carbon offset fund.
