It might be the fiery red shirts that make them stand out so clearly, or the precise way they move as a team, but the boys from the Triangle / Black Cattle Company Ranches of Texas demand to be noticed. I first saw Esrain Corrales, team captain, his brother Eugene Corrales, and team members Tell Good, Sam White, and Clay Igo while watching last year's Amarillo WRCA World Finals DVD.

It was just about time to take a break and get a well-deserved cup of coffee. Two pen riders rode by a third, a young man who was hurrying to catch up with his friends. But first, he had one more pull to get down the alley before he could fill a cup. He called to them that he would join them in about 10 minutes. After several minutes of the young man not showing, the two riders remounted and began looking for him. They found him at the end of the alley where they had last seen him. He was lying on the ground ... seriously injured.

As you know from my previous posts, litter bugs are a pet peeve of mine. I know it's not a trendy environmental cause that certain higher ups can make a lot of money on, but nonetheless it's quite annoying. I know that sometimes cans and cups and such can fly out of a window or pick-up bed, but I also know that there are a lot of people who just don't give a hoot. However, a few weeks ago I actually found a use for these non-hooting polluters.

ABHA Moves to Kansas City, MI.
Formerly located in the sale barn facility of pioneer breeder, J&N ranch, the American Black Hereford Association had outgrown the space available.
Late this summer the Association moved their headquarters to Kansas City, Missouri.
The new office is located at 719 Walnut Street, Kansas City, Missouri, close to the city's convention and hotel district.
A Grand Opening is planned for Friday October 28, 2011 from 5:30 - 7:00 PM during the American Royal Livestock Show.
