Help with managing health information technology in your practice

I in Health IT

It's a new year, with new opportunties for incorporating health information technology, including EHRs, in your practice. Whether it's learning data reporting skills, managing your cash flow, or understanding data security issues, we'll help you "Put the I in Health IT" in 2012. To complement our other services for healthcare providers and staff, the RI Regional Extension Center (RI REC) has partnered with other organizations to create the following educational opportunities in January and February:

  • Tuesday, January 24 (12:30 - 12:45 pm; webinar)

EHR Data Reporting: What to Do First . . . and Last

Healthcentric Advisors and partners (RI Regional Extension Center and Rhode Island Medical Society)

This micro-session is the first in a series of eight 15-minute webinars (each followed a week later by a 30-minute "drop-in call" to answer questions) that provide practical tools and support in getting the most out of your EHR for the least amount of effort. These free sessions, offered over a 16-week period, are part of Healthcentric Advisors' EHR Network Project, funded by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid. Although the webinars are designed for those already using an EHR, any RI physician practice may participate.
