Dear Friends, I'm very excited to share the Gathering of Men Fall Lunch Series list of speakers. Beginning October 2, the lunches will be held each October Wednesday in Grace Hall from 11:30am-12:30pm. The cost is $8, and each gathering will feature a guest speaker and lunch provided by Chef Paul and the 2PC Culinary Arts Academy students. Please note the change in day from Thursday to Wednesday this year. October 2 - The Rev. Dr. Herb Knudsen is a retired minister and has served as an installed pastor and interim pastor at several Bloomington-Normal churches. October 10 - Rev. Chris Malott was the organizing pastor at Waters Edge, a church plant in Zionsville, IN. He is also the former youth pastor at Zionsville Presbyterian Church, and currently serves as the co-director of The Great Escape Midwest (2PC junior high camp). October 17 - Mike Manahan is a retired wrestling coach, high school teacher and member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame (2006 inductee). Mike and his wife, Susan, are 2PC members. October 24 - Mike Murray is the Director of Development for Illinois State Athletics. Mike is currently focused on development efforts for the Hancock Stadium renovations. Mike is a former coach of the Bloomington Extreme and was previously on the football coaching staff at Illinois Wesleyan. Mike and his wife, Anne, have raised their family at 2PC. October 31 - The Rev. Dr. Dave Bianchin is the Interim Pastor/Head of Staff at 2PC. Dave has served in many churches throughout the nation and specifically in the Chicagoland area. Each of these men is a deeply devoted follower of Jesus Christ and live out their faith in many ways. They will share the ways they have worked to be faithful disciples of Jesus and offer encouragement to the group. These lunches are a source of great inspiration and support for men of all ages. Why not invite a family member, friend or coworker to join us? Hope to see you there! Rev. Josh Erickson
