Dear RAA Members and Friends,

As US Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood stated at this year's RAA Annual Convention in Nashville, "regional airlines have a seat at the table when we make aviation policy."

Regional airlines have earned this "seat at the table" because of you--our loyal airline members, our supporters and fellow industry stakeholders--and the work you've accomplished over more than three decades.  This is a trust and responsibility of great significance, particularly since nearly 75% of US communities rely exclusively on regional airlines for their scheduled flights.

The newly published RAA 2011 Annual Report begins to chronicle these achievements, and hopefully will be useful to you in helping our member airlines continue to fly safely, professionally and reliably for years to come.

Thanks again for your efforts, your long and committed support, and please call us whenever we can be of assistance.

In addition, RAA airline and associate member directories are included--an important reference tool--for all segments of this innovative industry.
