  • Arthritis of the Knee: Acupuncture significantly reduced pain and restored function, according to a 2004 government study.
  • Headaches: Two 2009 reviews found that acupuncture cut both tension and migraine headaches.
  • Lower Back Pain: Acupuncture eased low back pain in a big study last year, but so did a sham treatment where needles didn't penetrate the skin.Find out more . . .

Army Includes Acupuncture for Pain Management
Ninety percent of veterans returning home from Iraq & Afghanistan have some form of pain; 60% have significant pain. In late June, the Army Surgeon General released a report with 109 recommendations for changes in pain management.  Alternative treatments such as acupuncture, massage, and meditation were included.

Stay Tuned!  The studio is nearing completion.
