New Admixture Technology to Extend Durability of Concrete.

Untreated and Treated Rebar Immersed in Sea Water

Corroding rebar in deteriorating concrete is often the cause of costly repairs, financial losses, injuries and deaths, but Cortec® has a corrosion solution called MCI®-2005. It is a water-based corrosion inhibiting, concrete admixture. MCI®-2005 provides protection to metallic reinforcement in concrete structures. This organic admixture protects carbon steel, galvanized steel and other metals embedded in concrete from corrosion induced by: carbonation, chloride, atmospheric attack and other corrosive contaminants.

Case Study - "The Use of BCP10 to Reduce COD Levels From Chemical Manufacturing Plant

A chemical manufacturing plant located in the northern Midwest was experiencing high levels of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) in its discharge water. The local municipality had levied additional surcharges to treat the excess loading coming into its treatment facility from the plant. The environmental management at the plant needed to find a solution in order to reduce the excess surcharges, after careful consideration a Bioaugmentation program was selected.

Ashlee Meints
Regional Sales Manager

Cortec® Corporation would like to welcome Ashlee Meints, the newest member of the Cortec® family. For the last 6 years, Ashlee has worked with RPMCo, a Manufacturers Rep group that specializes in Industrial Packaging, Food Service, and Janitorial products, serving Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and Oklahoma. During her time at RPMCo, Ashlee also worked closely with Cortec®.

Before RPMCo, Ashlee worked with another Manufacturer Rep group, Southwest Disposable Concepts, from 2001-2005 and completed her undergraduate studies at University of North Texas. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her husband Chad and their two daughters, Gracelyn and Harper.

Ashlee will be a Regional Manager for Cortec®, responsible for Texas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana. We would like to wish Ashlee the best of luck and continued success here at Cortec®.
