Winestock
1 night of Peace, Grapes and Giving
Join us on October 20, 2011 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm for our 5th annual wine tasting and auction to benefit the Y's Reach Out for Youth Campaign at the Brady Sullivan Plaza concourse on Elm St in Manchester.
As always, a wide variety of restaurants and wine distributors will be in attendance serving top dishes and varietals. Two of Manchester's newest restaurants Hooked and Delux will be present as well as local favorites. For a complete list of restaurants and wine distributors click here.
A silent and live auction are held during the event. The silent auction offers more than 40 items such as a gift certificate to local restaurants, trips to local getaways, and tickets to entertainment venues. The live auction items include a trip to Ireland, a signed Bruins hockey stick, a top gun fighter jet experience, a stay at a Las Vegas condo, and much more! For a complete list of live auction items, click here.
Last year the Y partnered with 83 local community organizations to serve more than 25,000 individuals and provided $1.62 million in financial assistance and scholarship funds to 14,670 disadvantaged youth and families. For tickets and for more information, contact Sara McCarthy at 603.232.8624 or by email at smccarthy@yogm.org.

Giving Tree Fundraiser You may have noticed the apple tree in our lobbies? They are part of our first ever giving tree fundraiser. The Y's Youth Opportunities Unlimited programs provide support to students who would otherwise fall through the cracks. We are focused on working with kids whose lives are complicated by risk factors including poverty, exposure to violence, substance abuse, poor school performance, engagement in risk ta king behaviors, or significant social-emotional difficulties.
To get involved, simply pick an apple from the tree and return it to the Welcome Center along with your donation in support of a child in our Youth Opportunities Unlimited programs.

We are always happy to accommodate changes and transfers as long as space is available and your request is made before the session begins.
If you need to cancel participation in a program, please cancel before the session begins as another member may be waiting for an opening. You will receive a full refund of your class fee if you cancel at least 7 days before the first class. After that point, refunds are given if you have a medical reason that is supported with a doctor's note. Sorry, refunds cannot be given for scheduling conflicts or other reasons.
