In the last week's survey , we asked -  Are your suppliers giving good after sales support and customer support? 

• We have a few reps that offer a reasonable after market service, but others we never hear from & these can be companies we spend quite a bit of money with. Maybe it is because they are happy with their market share, so no effort is required in looking after the client.
• I am amongst the many who feel disenfranchised by wide format printer maintenance and repair companies.
• Is it a possibility that these businesses  be named and shamed.  Both the good and the bad. Is it possible to create a master file into which contributors can put their brickbats and bouquets. It might make them conform and live up to their boast.
• If you spend good money and don't screw you suppliers for the very last dollar you will get good service simple no money no service.
• As a General rule, No. If we have a machinery warranty claim, they'll try their best to avoid taking responsibility. Same for any product defects. Some companies are better than others, really depends on the Sales Rep, though we have learned only to deal with those, who have our interests at heart!
• there is no support at all unless you ask them.
• I find this totally amazing that in this day and age when things are a lot tougher that service is not important to everyone. I find Russell from artmart and John Hayes from Ricky Richards to offer the best service around. Companies have introduced points and free gifts and other incentives but this dosent influence me at all, I like things straight down the line backed up with support, knowledge and trust. There are too many companies out there that dont seem to care, or are telling their reps to Sell, Sell Sell, having offices in each state dosent make you better.
• Two or three are: the rest only just passable. Many send reps out who do not know which way North is and when you call for information the frustration increases considerably. We do not require much assistance but when we do we expect to get the information we need but which is so often lacking or inadequate.
• No complaints. In fact we are pleasantly surprised.
• There should be more 3rd party support technicians who can work with the suppliers so as not to void warranties. It's happening with vehicles, why not wide format equipment.
• Could be better.
