Expo 2011 - Thank You Retailers!
On April 11th over 500 retail guests were welcomed to the 2011 J.J. Taylor Trade Expo. We are proud to say that this year was the biggest turn out to date! The Depot in downtown Minneapolis was packed with retailers, suppliers, and J.J. Taylor employees who mingled over good food, and even better beer samples. Thank you to all of those that came out to see the great products we sell! |

Minnesota Meets Brooklyn!!
In case you missed the good news, Brooklyn Brewery is very excited to now be distributed in the great state of Minnesota. To help get the ball rolling, Steve Hindy ventured to the Land of 10,000 Lakes and conducted some tastings, one of which is pictured above.

Cicerone's Corner: Shandy Beer
Well, now that the warmer weather is kind of here it's time to talk about tasty beverages to enjoy this summer!I'm not sure how much of a surprise this will be to some people but if you have ever talked to me about it I will ALWAYS tell you how much I absolutely, 100% love Leinie's Summer Shandy!! In this wonderful world of craft beer we all live in right now all you hear the nerds talk about are 1 million IBU IPAs, super high ABV Russian Imperial Stouts, over the top sour ales or whatever the flavor of the month is right now, but sometimes, I want something different! Enter Summer Shandy! Seriously, this stuff rules my life in the summer! Now, I am forever grateful to Jake and John Leinenkugel for popularizing this wonderful beverage back in 2007. Here's my question: do you know the history of shandys? Well, as luck would have it, I'm going to tell you!
