Looks like we are in the right business on Thanksgiving Eve because it has long been considered to be the biggest bar night of the year!! It may not be an official holiday, but Black Wednesday is definitely a time for celebration. Thanks to out-of-town family and friends, college co-eds and over-worked employees, Thanksgiving Eve has become one of the biggest and best nights of the year to blow off some serious steam.

JJ Taylor Distributing Company of Minnesota recently "put its money where its mouth is," and enrolled its entire Sales Team in Cicerone's Certified Beer Server Training.  Eight hours of intensive/extensive lectures and tasting at JJ Taylor's Minneapolis facilities were conducted by Ray Daniels, creator of the Cicerone Program and one of the foremost beer experts of today!    The JJT of MN Sales Team's 60+ Managers, Sales Reps, Draft Technicians & Merchandisers are in the process of completing the online exams, with the aim of being 100% Certified Beer Servers by October 15. Click to read more!

NEW ULM- November 2, 2010.  The August Schell Brewing Company had a big night at this year's Minnesota Family Business Awards, hosted by the renowned Minnesota Business Magazine.
