Celebrate Day of the Dead with Rogue Dead Guy Ale!

HISTORY: In the early 1990s Dead Guy Ale was created as a private tap sticker to celebrate the Mayan Day of the Dead (November 1st, All Souls Day) for Casa U Betcha in Portland, Oregon. The Dead Guy design proved so popular with consumers and especially Grateful Dead fans, that we made it the label for our Maierbock ale. Even though the association with the Grateful Dead band is pure coincidence, we have gratefully dedicated Dead Guy Ale to the Rogue in each of us. (Stats and awards).

J.J Taylor Distributing: 2010 Beer Wholesaler of the Year

John Taylor won't settle for second best. As president of one of the country's largest beer distributorships, he aims to be the wholesaler of choice for his customers, suppliers and nearly 1,000 employees, J.J. Taylor Cos. Inc., with operations in Florida and Minnesota, works hard to improve retailer sales and profitability. "We try to give retailers an independent voice to help them sell more beer and grow their businesses," Taylor says. "We work with them to improve their (shelf) sets and merchandising abilities, and hopefully we benefit from that as well. We like to be our beer retailers' trusted beer advisor."
